This is a completely made up painting depicting my favourite dog Oscar taking his young friend for a walk in the countryside.
The sun is shining, the oil seed rape is in full bloom and the poppies have just started to come out.
I will leave it to the viewer to decide where they are heading and what the little girl may be saying to Oscar, who I know is a very good listener.
Award-winning artist, Richard Harpum, paints in a realist style, paying meticulous attention to detail. His medium of choice is acrylics on canvas or board but he also uses oils and paints watercolour florals. Richard's primary focus is landscapes, seascapes, cityscapes and gardens but he also paints portraits, still lifes and florals.
